This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for Lincoln High School Alumni Association and our website; http://www.lincolnalum.org.

This privacy notice applies solely to Contact information collected by the LHSAA for the following:

• The Contact information the LHSAA collects for Membership, event registrations, and site e-commerce.
• With whom Contact Information is shared
• How Contact Information can be edited and corrected
• How LHSAA Privacy Policy changes will be communicated; and
• How to address concerns over misuse of personal data

Contact Information Collection, Use, and Sharing 

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to collect information that is necessary on the Membership Application and that you provide voluntarily on event registrations, alumni services requests, and purchases on the LHSAA website. We do not sell or rent contact information to any public or personal entity. 

We will use your information to respond to only you regarding the context you contacted us. We will not share your information with third party sites, public and private entities outside of the LHSAA organization (see exceptions under Sharing). If you choose to opt-out of sharing your contact information, log in to the LHSAA Directory webpage and select the Opt Out option.

Your Access and Control Over Your Contact Information 

You may opt out of receiving LHSAA Emails by selecting privacy options in your Membership Profile page when you Log In to the LHSAA Website.

• See what data is listed on your account.
• Change/correct any data listed on your account..
• Email Request to LHSAA to delete any data listed on your account.
• Choose which level of privacy you want, i.e, Anybody, Members Only, or No Access.

Application and Registration Forms Contact Information

In order to use this website, alumni are required to complete the Registration Form with an active Email Address. The Registration Form's provided Email Address is used to contact you for event updates, provide transaction receipts, registration confirmations and reminders, and providing QR codes if needed.

Orders 

We request information from you on our invoice form. This information is used for billing purposes. If we have trouble processing an order, we'll use this information to contact you.

Sharing 

We may partner with Friends of Lincoln to share contact information for specific services.  This is the only third party we share information with as per our mission to support Lincoln High School. LHSAA only uses personally identifiable information for the purpose of providing information or services. If you want to "opt out" of sharing information with Friends of LIncoln, go to your Profile under Contact Detail select the "NO" in Shares with LHS option.

This web site contains links to other sites (such as Lincoln High School or Friends of Lincoln). Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.

Security 

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Cookies 

We use "cookies" on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance their experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.
